Sekilas tentang GPRS

GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) adalah suatu teknologi yang memungkinkan pengiriman dan penerimaan data lebih cepat jika dibandingkan dengan penggunaan teknologi Circuit Switch Data atau CSD. Sering disebut pula dengan teknologi 2,5G.

Sistem GPRS dapat digunakan untuk transfer data (dalam bentuk paket data) yang berkaitan dengan e-mail, data gambar (MMS), dan penelusuran (browsing) internet.

Dalam teorinya GPRS menjanjikan kecepatan mulai dari 56 kbps sampai 115 kbps, sehingga memungkinkan akses internet, pengiriman data multimedia ke komputer, notebook dan handheld computer. Namun, dalam implementasinya, hal tersebut sangat tergantung faktor-faktor sebagai berikut:

* Konfigurasi dan alokasi time slot pada level BTS.
* Software yang dipergunakan.
* Dukungan fitur dan aplikasi ponsel yang digunakan.

Ini menjelaskan mengapa pada saat-saat tertentu dan di lokasi tertentu akses GPRS terasa lambat, bahkan lebih lambat dari akses CSD yang memiliki kecepatan 9,6 kbps.

SENIOR / ROVER OPERATOR
Diploma
/ NCTVT with a formal plant training with minimum 5 years experience in
LNG Plant, LPG Refinery or Gas Treating plant in the same position.
Thorough knowledge of Process is must.

Inlet Receiving
PANEL OPERATOR
Graduate/Diploma
with mm 10 years experience in receiving panel will familiar with slug
catcher, Condensate stabilizer, piping operation, LPG treating and sour
water injection.

SENIOR/ROVER OPERATOR
Diploma
/ NCTVT with a formal plant training and able to lead his team on
routine day to day process activities in receiving plant, familiar with
slug catcher, Condensate stabilizer, piping operation, LPG treating and
sour water injection. Minimum 6 years Experience and out of which at
least 4 years as Senior Operator.

Sebuah teknologi DVD memungkinkan untuk menyimpan data dalam lima dimensi, sehingga mampu menampung lebih dari 2.000 film dalam satu disk tunggal.

Hal ini merupakan terobosan para peneliti dari the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia yang mengembangkan teknologi nano untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penyimpanan DVD.

Jika pada umumnya, disk biasa memiliki tiga dimensi ruang, namun dengan nanorod emas, para peneliti ini mampu menambah dua dimensi, satu berbasis spektrum warna, satunya lagi berbasis polarisasi.

"Kami sanggup menunjukkan bagaimana struktur materi nano dapat dimasukkan ke dalam sebuah disk untuk meningkatkan kapasitas penyimpanan, tanpa memperbesar ukuran fisik disk tersebut," klaim Min Gu, ketua tim penelitian, dikutip dari AFP, Senin (25/5/2009).

Proyek ini telah dilirik oleh raksasa elektronik Korea, Samsung. Paling cepat dalam kurun waktu lima tahun produk ini akan dikomersialkan. Sebelumnya, raksasa teknologi Amerika Serikat,General Electric telah mengembangkan disk holographic yang memiliki kapasitas penyimpanan 100 kali DVD standar.

Sementara itu disk dual layer Blu-ray yang disebut-sebut sebagai format media penyimpanan cakram digital masa depan memiliki kapasitas penyimpanan rata-rata 10 kali DVD biasa.

* Have minimum of 5 years experience in construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance
* Have knowledge in:
o Process control and measurement principles

o Design and installation of pneumatic and electronics protectives system and monitoring system including DCS(such as: YOKOGAWA centrum) and SCADA system
o Design and installation of fire and gas detection and protective system

Kode-kode cabul itu pun kini dilaporkan tengah marak digunakan oleh para remaja nakal untuk mengelabui pengawasan para orang tua mereka. Dikutip dari wthr, Kamis (7/5/2009), kode rahasia tersebut diberi nama 'sexting'.

Berikut adalah beberapa diantaranya:

D46 - "Do you want to have sex?"

LG6 - "Let's have sex"

GNOC - "Get naked on camera"

TDTM - "Talk dirty to me"

LMIRL - "Let's meet in real life"

Entah masih berapa banyak lagi kode rahasia kalimat cabul seperti ini yang beredar. Namun yang pasti peredarannya tak hanya di dunia maya, 'sexting' ditengarai juga sudah mulai beredar antar ponsel.
